Volume I (Genesis - Lamentations) is 968pp. and Volume II (Ezekiel - Revelation) is 348pp. Handsomely bound in full blindstamped morocco with gilt lettering and ornamentation on the spine and lavishly illustrated with 238 full page engravings. There is an occasional short tear to the margins of a few plates, but generally the plates are in very good condition and excellent impressions.The overall condition is good. The leather is scuffed on both volumes and there is a 4" split to the front joint of Volume II. The heel of the spine of Volume I is chipped. The front hinge of Volume II is cracked, otherwise the hinges are strong. Three plates, "The Flight Into Egypt", "The Prodigal Son In The Arms of His Father" "The Death of Jezebel" have been removed and two leaves, 487-488 of the Old testament and the first leaf of the New Testament are loose but present. 67584
